Grove House has been awarded the top end of 4 stars with Visit Scotland, with many areas of the property scoring 5 star status.The property has been owner run for over 27 years , and Karen and Sean take great pride in the operation of their business, and always look forward to welcoming people into their home. The interior is tastefully decorated with attention to detail throughout. The award winning gourmet breakfast is a real feast. It has a choice of over 15 starters, freshly prepared fruit smoothies, 10 main courses along with tea, coffee,hot chocolate, flavoured teas, toast and preserves. A famous chef who stayed at Grove House said the breakfasts were simply ' Top Notch ' and that it would rival any 5 star hotel.Grove House is situated in the heart of Connel which is under 5 miles from Oban. The bus stops outside the property and there are regular buses to town daily. We also have a very good deal with a taxi firm , and can arrange a return taxi service for reasonable prices. There are 3 restaurants, 2 pubs and a cocktail bar all within walking distance of the property.The owner is a former longbow World Champion and offers guests a chance to try theirs skills at the longbow. This is based at the couples sister property called Ardtorna which is a short drive from Grove House.
